    Hi,
In our company we're using the TinyPilot to connect to office laptops and we are having an issue that we haven't seen before. The video display works as before, but the input devices (keyboard and mouse) stopped working and we cannot interact with the connected device, only see its screen. The TinyPilot was at 2.6.2, updated to 2.6.4 but the issue persists. Logs are here - https://logs.tinypilotkvm.com/GVoTli9z

Have seen other similar issues reported here that involved USB cable/port health, *dmesg *output for reference:

Hi @starcaller, I'm sorry you're running into this USB input issue.

Thanks for sharing that TinyPilot log. I can see that your TinyPilot isn't able to send any mouse input, but the errors are non-specific, so it doesn't point to a cause.

Could you share more details about your setup (for example, your laptop's make/model and operating system)?

Are you moving this TinyPilot around to different laptops? Is your TinyPilot using the USB-C cable (for TinyPilot's Data port) that came with the device? We've found that many USB-C cables are designed for power only, rather than data transfer, so if you're using different USB-C cables, that could be the cause of this problem.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks for the advice, it was indeed a USB hardware problem with the connected laptop, and not with the TinyPilot itself. We usually connect different Win10/Win11 laptops without issue, but this time there was a problem with the source ports on the laptop. It's fixed now, so back to piloting!
