Hi, I installed tinypilot from here

    https://raw.githubusercontent.com/tiny-pilot/tinypilot/master/quick-install

when installed it uses http and seems to require no login. What are the best practices for securing tinypilot?

Hi @genfoch, thanks for your questions about securing the community version of TinyPilot.

The community version of TinyPilot is for hobbyists who are comfortable maintaining and securing their devices and has several security considerations to be aware of. You might find our community guides on enabling HTTP Basic Authentication and adding SSL support helpful.

An alternative solution is to upgrade to TinyPilot Pro, which supports user authentication and HTTPS by default. You also get additional benefits, including the ability to use virtual media and access to e-mail support.
