Safari Issue with TinyPilot v2.6.5
- @david
I've just successfully installed the latest version of the TinyPilot software v2.65 and am running the latest version of MacOS Sequoia using Safari v18.1. I can not see the display at all but if I take a screenshot, it seems to show up. The display seems to work ok with Firefox v132.0.2
Can someone in support look into this as I prefer Safari over all else.
Thanks,
-tp

Hi @w0lt, I'm sorry you're unable to see your target machine's screen on Safari.
Thanks for sharing all those details! I couldn't reproduce this issue on my Mac with Safari - though that may be because my OS and Safari versions are different from the versions you're using.
Could you share a screenshot showing your TinyPilot's web interface and how TinyPilot's display appears in Safari for you?
Could you also share a TinyPilot log with me to review? On your TinyPilot web interface, go to System > Logs and click Get Shareable URL. Then paste the link in your reply.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks for sharing that log, @w0lt.
I can see in the logs that your device has throttled since boot (
CPU throttled since boot: yes
), and had a voltage issue (Voltage issues: yes
).I can also see that your TinyPilot's video streaming service is lacking log information that we'd expect to see (like the resolution and refresh rate TinyPilot is receiving).
Can you confirm you're using the TinyPilot power supply that came with your device to power it?
Could you share the screenshot showing your TinyPilot's web interface and how TinyPilot's display appears in Safari for you? Do you see the "No Signal" image, or something else?
Please let me know if you have any questions.
