copy paste and characters problem

Could you share more details about the copy/paste issue and what exactly is happening (or what you expect to happen)?

For the mismatched characters, this could be because the keyboard layout on your client machine (the machine you access TinyPilot's web interface from) is different from the keyboard layout on your target machine (the machine you're controlling).

Could you check your client machine and target machine's keyboard layouts to check that they're the same. On Windows machines, you can check the current keyboard layout by opening Settings, selecting Time & Language, then Language & region, Click the menu button next to the language (three dots), click on Language options and check the Installed Keyboards section.
