I just received my TinyPilot v2. I do have visual with the Target machine, but do not have any control over mouse/keyboard
Troubleshooting steps taken:
1- Flashed SD card
2- Tried multiple source and target machines
Both Source and Target machines are Microsoft Laptops running windows 11.

Hi @RemotePilot, I'm sorry you're running into this mouse/keyboard input issue.
Thanks for sharing those details and logs!
You logs are showing a generic error message that suggests there's a connection error:
ERROR Failed to write to HID interface: /dev/hidg1. Is USB cable connected?
. The issue could lie with the USB cable or the target machine. Are you using the USB-C to USB-A cable that came with your TinyPilot? Could you check for any debris on each end of the cable? If the cable looks OK, could you check that the cable itself is working correctly by connecting a different device to a PC (for instance a smartphone or similar) to check that the two devices communicate (and not just charge)?
Please let me know if you have any questions.

I'm using cables which came with TinyPilot. There is no debris. Yes, cables are fine checked with other devices and they do communicate.

Thanks for those details!
When you connect TinyPilot to your target machine (laptop), do you see it appear as a connected device in the target machine's device manager (Start > Device Manager > USB controllers)?
I think some laptops disable USB ports as part of a low power mode. Could you try turning off lower power mode on your laptop to see if that helps?
Please let me know if you have any questions.

No adapters, direct cables to laptops.
Here is the log, while I can view the screen:

Thanks for sharing all that!
I can't see any clear reasons why TinyPilot's mouse and keyboard aren't working in this setup, so I'm not sure what's causing this behavior.
Could you tell me the make and model of the target laptop you're using?
- R@RemotePilot
Target: Microsoft Surface Laptop Windows 11
Source: Lenova Laptop Windows 11 . I also swap Target and Sources laptops and experience the same issue.I also tried with Dell (Windows 10) and Dell Windows 11 machines

So, I unplugged HDMI cable from Target machine, and still mouse would not go on Black "No Signal" box area. Does it tell you anything?
- R@RemotePilot
Issue resolved. I restored SD Card, and now it works.

Thanks for the update, @RemotePilot - I'm glad you're up and running after a factory reset.

Yes, it is connected because I can see the screen of target machine. Both are my personal laptops so ports are not blocked. I use ports for external monitors and they work just fine.

Thanks for the update!
Yes, it is connected because I can see the screen of target machine.
Sorry, I meant specifically that you can see TinyPilot as a connected USB device on your target machine in your target machine's USB device manager, rather than being able to see the target machine's screen via the web interface.
Could you share a screenshot from your target machine showing TinyPilot connected as a USB device and then share another TinyPilot log with me to review?
Can I ask whether you're using a USB adapter or hub anywhere between your TinyPilot and target machine?
