I have a REMOTE tinypilot that I lost the ability to ssh in, and also upgrade. How can I fix it?

Anyone? Do I just need to get a new SDCard?

        1. Hi Larry, thanks for your message. I'm sorry you're having problems using SSH and upgrading your TinyPilot device.

Can you please provide some more details? For example, what happens when you try to use SSH or if you see any errors when you try to upgrade? It'd also be helpful if you could provide a link to your debug logs by going to System, then Logs, then Get Shareable URL.

so, anything that requires privs fails :(

            1. Thanks for getting back to me, and sorry for the delayed response!

We've not seen this exact issue before, and, unfortunately, it's difficult to say what happened without more details or the logs. Did anyone else have access to your TinyPilot device, or was it exposed directly to the Internet? If not, the most likely explanation is that the microSD card has become corrupted, and a factory reset should get your device back up and running.

no other access -- can you send a new SD card? If so, I can give you an address to send it to.

                1. Thanks for getting back to me! We'd generally recommend using our factory reset process to restore the existing microSD card, as it's usually quicker. If that's not an option for you, please let me know, and I'll ask our customer support team to contact you to discuss alternative options.

The box is 700+ miles from me. So, if it requires hands on.....

                    1. Thanks for replying! I've asked our customer support team to contact you about a replacement microSD card. You should hear from them soon, although responses might be slower over the festive period.
