No Signal
- @david
Hi,
I hope you're all having a great day enjoying Tinypilot. I've been using Tinypilots for several months without any issues, but with my new laptop, I'm experiencing something unusual. I connected the laptop to a new Tinypilot, but I received a "No Signal" message.
Thinking the new Tinypilot might be defective, I connected it to a different Tinypilot that was already working with another laptop. However, it still didn’t work. I suspected the HDMI port on the laptop might be the problem, so I purchased a USB-to-HDMI adapter, but I’m still facing the "No Signal" issue.
Can anyone help me resolve this? Below is the log from the Tinypilot web page.

Thanks!

Hi Carlos, I'm sorry you're running into this No Signal issue with your new laptop.
Thanks for sharing all those details and the TinyPilot log.
The log suggests that your TinyPilot isn't receiving a video signal at all, so we'll have to dig into this a little.
Can you tell me the make and model of your new laptop? I suspect you may need to change the resolution and refresh rate your laptop is outputting to your TinyPilot.
With your TinyPilot connected to the new laptop (ideally without the USB to HDMI adapter), could you navigate to your laptop's display settings and try changing TinyPilot's screen resolution to 1920x1080 at 30Hz or 1280x720 at 60Hz?
Please let me know if you have any questions.
