Get TinyPilot to show up as common, over-the-counter devices? (Monitor, USB hub)

My company has some draconian security mandates, including many that affect productivity but make nothing more secure.

Well, they were able to detect that for a time period, I have a TinyPilot connected to my machine. How did they detect this? Was it by the HDMI EDID being reported? Was it by the name of the USB hub that gets reported?

Is there any way we can change this so that it matches common CE devices that don't get detected as a TinyPilot?

Hi @spongymike, thanks for your question.

TinyPilot is designed to access and control a computer or device that you have authorization to access and control using TinyPilot. The TinyPilot team will not assist when they have reason to believe you do not have this authorization or if they have reason to believe you're attempting to deceive a third-party through the use of TinyPilot.
