Stun Server Port
- @cghague
I am accessing TinyPilot remotely over 8443 > 443. However when doing this it flips to mjpeg and I tried turning the STUN server to Google and to GMX, but the issue still persists. On the local network it is fine. Do I need to also forward any STUN ports to get this working?

Hi @tape, thanks for your question about using H.264 with STUN.
You shouldn't need to open ports for H.264 with STUN, as the connection process uses NAT traversal technology. However, some strict firewalls or networks with multiple NAT layers can prevent TinyPilot from establishing a connection even with STUN. It's worth noting that some Internet providers use carrier-grade NAT internally, so even if it looks like NAT isn't present, it might still be there.
If you'd like to share your logs, I can check for any other issues preventing a connection. You can generate a link to your logs by going to System, then Logs, then Get Shareable URL.
