I connected my TinyPilot to a Raspberry Pi 5. I can see the screen but the keyboard and mouse have no effect. RealVNC by contrast works just fine.

Hi @ffukuyam, I'm sorry you're running into this mouse and keyboard issue with your Pi 5.
TinyPilot is capable of controlling the Pi 5 (and other Pi devices), so we'll have to explore this a little.
Can you confirm that your TinyPilot's Data cable connects to one of your Pi 5's USB-A ports?
And does your TinyPilot's mouse/keyboard work on other target machines (like a desktop or laptop)?
Could you share a TinyPilot log with me to review? On your TinyPilot's web interface, navigate to System > Logs and click "Get Shareable URL". Then paste the link in your reply.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Sorry, the problem was the USB C to USB C cable I was using. I switched to a USB a to USB C cable attached to a different port on the Pi and it worked well.

Thanks for the update @ffukuyam! I'm happy that connecting to the USB-A port worked and that you're now able to control your Pi 5.
Feel free to reach out again if you have any questions!
