I was able to control the mouse using tinypilot, but I could only see the "no signal".

Hi @jacklyons0213, I'm sorry you're running into this "No Signal" issue.

Thanks for sharing that log! It looks like your TinyPilot was receiving a suitable signal, but its input disconnected or changed to a signal that TinyPilot may not support.

Can you tell me more about your setup? It would be useful to know your target machine's make/model and operating system. Could you also tell me whether you're using an adapter with the HDMI cable (VGA, DisplayPort, USB-C, etc.)?

In the meantime, our "How do I fix a "No Signal" message?" FAQ may help if you haven't seen it yet.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

I tried to connect to another laptop with the current setup, and it was working fine. But the current setup is not only working with the laptop that I'm trying to use.
The target laptop is windows 10, and I'm not using any adapter.

Thanks for sharing those details, @jacklyons0213.

If your TinyPilot is working with another device, it suggests your target machine isn't outputting a suitable display signal.

Do you know the make / model of the Windows 10 target laptop?

When you connect TinyPilot to your target laptop, do you see TinyPilot as a display in your laptop's display settings (on Windows 10, I believe it's Start > Settings > System > Display)? Can you try adjusting the output resolution for TinyPilot to 1920x1080 at 30Hz or 1280x720 at 60Hz to see if that helps with this No Signal issue?

Please let me know if you have any questions.

I couldn't see the tinypilot's display on the target machine.

                Thanks!

Do you know the make and model of the Windows 10 target laptop? For instance, a Dell Latitude or a Lenovo ThinkPad etc.

Does your laptop output an image when you connect a physical display to the laptop's HDMI port?

Please let me know if you have any questions.
