Performed update, now cannot access Tiny Pilot
- @cghague
I performed the update, then got the following error at the end of the update process..
/
nginx: the configuration file /etc/nginx/nginx.conf syntax is ok
nginx: configuration file /etc/nginx/nginx.conf test is successful
active
/opt/tinypilot /
/
Warning: The unit file, source configuration file or drop-ins of janus.service changed on disk. Run 'systemctl daemon-reload' to reload units.
Restarting to complete update...
Now when I attempt to access TinyPilot I get:
{"code":null,"message":"mapping values are not allowed here\n in "/home/tinypilot/settings.yml", line 7, column 17"}

Hi Rob, thanks for your message. I'm sorry you're having trouble following an update.
The upgrade log output you provided is an expected part of the upgrade process and doesn't suggest anything went wrong. However, the error message you see when starting TinyPilot could indicate filesystem corruption.
It'd be really helpful to see a full log to confirm the system's state, but if TinyPilot isn't starting, it might be tricky to obtain one. Could you please let me know if you previously enabled SSH access to your TinyPilot device and, if so, whether you can still connect over SSH?

We do not have SSH enabled, however, I completely unplugged the unit, then reconnected without the LAN - got the green status light - reconnected LAN and after doing this process twice, it came back up on-line.

Thanks for replying; I'm glad your TinyPilot device is working again.
It sounds like this is a transient issue, which could still indicate a corrupted filesystem. If you'd like to send me a link to your logs, I'd be happy to review them for anything unusual. You can generate a link by going to System, then Logs, then Get Shareable URL.
