TinyPilot and OBS Studio
In order to remotely administer the livestream for my church, I was using NoMachine to control the streaming computer. However, I was having issues with OBS and NoMachine running at the same time (the computer would lock up and be unresponsive). Using TinyPilot in lieu of NoMachine seems to have solved the problem.
For audio, I use Jitsti Meet. To use high-quality, stereo audio, append "#config.audioQuality.stereo=true&config.audioQuality.opusMaxAverageBitrate=96000" to the link when creating the stream.

Hi Gene, thanks for sharing your experience with us!
We're glad to hear that switching from NoMachine to TinyPilot helped resolve the issues you were facing with OBS freezing and becoming unresponsive. It's great to know that TinyPilot is providing a more stable solution for your church's livestream administration.
Can I ask about your use of Jitsi meet for audio? Are you using Jitsi meet to play your target machine's audio on your client machine? If so, TinyPilot has audio capture functionality that should be able to handle this use-case. We have an FAQ detailing how to set up and playback audio if you have a TinyPilot Voyager 2a device.
If you have any questions or need further assistance, feel free to reach out to us anytime.

I'm using TinyPilot Pro with my own Raspberry Pi, hence the need for a solution such as Jitsi Meet.
Also, I use a separate audio interface to receive the stereo bus from a mixing console for the livestream.

Thanks for the additional details, Gene. That makes perfect sense.
Since you're using a self-built TinyPilot Pro on your own Raspberry Pi, you're right that audio capture through TinyPilot's web interface isn't currently available on that setup. That feature is limited to our Voyager 2a hardware, so your use of Jitsi Meet is a creative and effective workaround for remote audio monitoring.
It's good to know you're using a separate audio interface to bring in the stereo mix from your console. If you ever have any questions, feel free to reach out anytime.
