No internet connection

Update error

    When clicked "update" button from the menu, the below error message appears:

    Error: Failed to check latest available version: fatal: unable to access [redacted]: Couldn't connect to server

    Please help.

        Hello @tknto48 - Thanks for posting your question in our Forum. I'm sorry you are having this issue.

        • Is the TinyPilot connected to a network with internet access? In order to perform the update, an internet connection is required. From the error you are getting, it looks like the TinyPilot is not able to connect to the repository.

            Hello, thanks for reply and advice.
            You were correct.
            Somehow the device didn't receive a default gateway address from the DHCP server.
            After it was sorted out, the update run successfully.
