Power Supply suitable for the UK, and questions about the dongle...

    Hello -
I received my Hobbiest Kit today. It's very nice, but being in the UK the power block is somewhat useless.
I was wondering if anyone could point me at a power supply suitable for the UK?

Also in the instructions, it describes clicking the button on the power/data dongle - is this something I have to do every single time I start the thing up, or is the PWR setting just a diagnostic tool to make sure power is coming through?

    1. Thanks for your order! Sorry for the power adapter surprise.

The power supply supports 100-240 V so it should still work in the UK with a socket adaptor.

Ah, it's actually a switch rather than a button. You flip it on to turn allow power to the Pi. It's there because if you power down a Pi, there's no way to turn it on again aside from disconnecting and reconnecting power. The switch is there to save you from yanking a cable. If you want to turn on a Pi that's been shut down, you can just turn the power switch off and on.
