Hi @axm, sorry that you're having this screen flickering issue.

Can you tell me more about your setup? Is the MacOS device your target machine (i.e. the computer you're trying to control)?

Could you also share logs from your TinyPilot? On your TinyPilot's web interface, navigate to System > Logs and click Get Shareable URL. Then paste the link in your reply.

I'm also experiencing this, is there any solution?

EDIT: So I was connecting HMDI using a HDMI to usb-c adapter, is that not supported?

Hi @rubixibuc, I'm sorry you're running into display issues on your TinyPilot.

TinyPilot does work with adapters, but you'll have to be mindful of TinyPilot's supported resolutions. You will need to make sure that your Mac outputs at a resolution and refresh rate listed in the "HDMI" supported resolutions list.

Could you check your Mac's output settings? Open your Mac's Settings app and click on "Displays", then check your connected devices and the display settings they're using. I recommend 1920x1080 at 30Hz.

Could you also share a log from your TinyPilot for me to review? On your TinyPilot's web interface, navigate to System > Logs and click Get Shareable URL. Then paste the link in your reply.

I think you're correct, my refresh rate was set to 60hz. I need to order a new cable to test that theory, but it sounds very likely the problem then :)

Your Mac's refresh rate is almost definitely the cause of the issue here - TinyPilot doesn't support 1920x1080 at 60Hz. Once you've received your new cable and adjusted your Mac's display settings, you should be good to go!

Please let me know if you have any other questions.
