    Hi,
I'm trying to update my device using the GUI but it stucks at «retrieving update logs from TinyPilot device ». When I try to show logs on the menu it says «error retrieving debug logs».
    on ssh any command return

    /etc/sudoers: syntax error near line 1 <<<
    /etc/sudoers: syntax error near line 2 <<<
    ....
    /etc/sudoers: syntax error near line 162 <<<
    /etc/sudoers: syntax error near line 166 <<<
sudo: parse error in /etc/sudoers near line 1
sudo: no valid sudoers sources found, quitting
sudo: unable to initialize policy plugin
    pilot@tinypilot:~ $

    thanks for you help

Hi @atoure, thank you for reaching out. I’m sorry to hear you are having issues updating.

Unfortunately, the errors you are seeing indicate severe filesystem corruption. This can happen for a variety of reasons, such as if your TinyPilot device has unexpectedly lost power at some point. I appreciate it’s a hassle, but you’ll need to factory reset your device in order to recover it. You might want to consider enabling the read-only filesystem afterwards to reduce the likelihood of this happening in future.

          hi Charles,
thank you for your answer, I will go ahead and factory reset the device.
I will let you know the result.
          best regards
