    I see a menu option System:Virtual Media
It allows mounting from my desktop or a url.
Is there a way to mount an image from the sdcard in tinypilot (preferred) or from the USB port in tinypilot?

Hi @trevorhu, thanks for your question about using the Virtual Media feature.

The Virtual Media feature doesn't directly mount disk images from your computer or the Internet. Instead, it saves a copy of the disk image to your microSD card before mounting it. I believe this is what you are hoping for, but please let me know if you have something else in mind.

Regarding mounting disk images from a USB drive, it is possible to store Virtual Media on a USB drive if you require more storage space, but we would only recommend saving files to the USB drive using the TinyPilot app. This restriction is because, while other computers may be able to see the disk images on the USB drive, they often cannot set the required permissions correctly.
