Pre-buy doubts, non admin laptop
Hello, I work from home and have a company laptop that I feel umconfortable with bringing with me around. While searching for solutions, I think that TinyPilot with the pro software and remote.it might be exactly what I'm looking for. I have a pair of doubts though:
-Can I turn the laptop on remotely via the tinypilot?
-I see in videos that the keyboard is shown in the lower part of the web. Do I need to click on these to operate the keyboard, or mapping to the remote host keyboard is an option as well?
Thank you in advance for your reply

Thanks for checking out TinyPilot!

TinyPilot doesn't natively support this, but if your laptop supports Wake on LAN (WOL), you could activate that from the command line. The LearnLinuxTV video about TinyPilot shows how to do this.

You can type normally on your keyboard and the keystrokes will forward to the remote computer. The on-screen keyboard is just there for keystrokes that you can't type in the browser because the OS will capture them, like Ctrl+Alt+Del.
