Hi @Mainuli526, I'm sorry you're running into this mouse issue with your TinyPilot.

Could you share a screenshot showing the misaligned mouse cursors? Ideally, the screenshot should show the whole of the TinyPilot web interface.

Could you also share a TinyPilot log for me to review? On your TinyPilot web interface, go to System > Logs and click Get Shareable URL. Then paste the link in your reply.

With the screenshot and a log, I should be able to see what's causing the misalignment issue.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks for sharing the log and the video, @Mainuli526!

Your TinyPilot is receiving a 1920x1080 video signal from your Windows machine, but it looks like the video has blank bars on the sides.

That behavior suggests your Windows machine is using "Active signal resolution" where it renders your desktop (say at 2560x1600) and scales it to 1920x1080 for TinyPilot. In this situation, your Windows machine interprets TinyPilot's 1920x1080 mouse input/position at its original resolution, causing this misalignment issue.

The solution here is to change your Windows machine's display settings to render the desktop at 1920x1080 and output at the same resolution without scaling.

To change the settings on Windows, open your display settings, select your TinyPilot display, and then in the 'display resolution' row, select 1920x1080.

              Your settings should then say:

              Desktop resolution 1920x1080
              Active signal resolution	1920x1080

I hope that helps! Please let me know if you have any questions.
