Building TinyPilot KVM from NanoPi NEO pLus 2
- @cghague
Hello,
I have running piKVM on
FriendlyARM NanoPi NEO Plus2
with USB to HDMI capture card
534d:2109 MacroSilicon USB Video
OTG USB-A to USB-A cable
running on
Linux nanopineoplus2 6.1.77-legacy-sunxi64 #2 SMP Fri Feb 23 08:12:53 UTC 2024 aarch64 GNU/Linux
Everything is working fine but this setup is not supported by default (because piKVM uses arch on raspberry pi) so I am running it via unofficial pikvm debian packages via https://github.com/srepac/kvmd-armbian
I am thinking if I would install TinyPilot on debian (ARMBian) on my device NanoPi NEO Plus 2, if it would work, if it would be easier to maintain, update, use?
Would TinyPilot be installable and usable to use with this setup?

Hi @Peterkal2112, thanks for your interest in TinyPilot!
We only officially make TinyPilot for the Raspberry Pi, but some users have managed to run it on other hardware. Unfortunately, we can't test all alternative devices due to the sheer number of them available, but if you try it with your NanoPi NEO Plus2 and find it works, please let us know!
